XIII century. The villain seized power in the Murom principality. Only the brave warrior Peter goes out to fight the villain and defeats him. But the poisonous blood of the sorcerer poisons the savior of the principality. Healer Fevronia is ready to use her gift to save Peter. A real pure feeling breaks out between the young people, which they have to preserve despite many obstacles.

The story focuses on a family of anthropomorphic rabbits, the widowed mother rabbit cautioning her young against entering a vegetable garden grown by a man named Mr. McGregor, telling them: "your Father had an accident there; he was put in a pie by Mrs. McGregor". Whereas her three daughters obediently refrain from entering the garden, going down the lane to pick blackberries, her rebellious son Peter enters the garden to snack on some vegetables. Peter ends up eating more than is good for him and goes looking for parsley to cure his stomach ache.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 6. Pigling Bland is a young pig who is forced to leave home, along with his brother Alexander, when his mother realizes that she is unable to feed all eight of her piglets. Pigling Bland becomes separated from Alexander and gets hopelessly lost.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 9. A sleepy Mr. Bouncer can not stop Tommy Brock from stealing the sleepy Flopsy bunnies, which he takes to Mr. Tod's lodge where he plan to eat them, but the owner comes back.

The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher: Mr. Jeremy Fisher, the frog, wants to go fishing for minnows for his dinner. Unfortunately, he is about to find out the dangers of going fishing alone. The Tale of Peter Rabbit: Naughty Peter Rabbit goes off to Mr. McGregor's garden against his mother's warnings, but he soon learns about the consequences of disobeying his mother.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 8. The six fluffy babies of Benjamin Bunny are in great danger when Mr. McGregor put them in a sack, but the rabbit can manage it. At the same time, Mrs. Tittlemouse is in great danger as group of bees installed their hive in her very clean home.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 2. Tom Kitten and his sisters spoil the tea party of their mother Tabitha, while Jemina Puddle-Duck meets the most peculiar foxy gentleman.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 7. Two stories about homes: the first tells about two mice creating havoc in a lovely dollhouse, while the second focuses on the friendship between a country mouse and a town mouse.

Adaptation of Pushkin's fairy tales. The tale is about a fisherman who manages to catch a Golden Fish which promises to fulfill any wish of his in exchange for its freedom. The storyline is similar to the Russian fairy tale "The Greedy Old Wife" and the Brothers Grimm's tale "The Fisherman and His Wife".

Sergei Prokofiev's symphonic masterpiece, first performed in Russia in 1936, has been lauded not only for the spectacular musical score, but also for the story itself--of a young boy who outwits a wily wolf. George Daugherty brings this timeless tale to modern audiences by seamlessly weaving live-action with animation and music by the RCA Symphony Orchestra. The story opens as a grandfather (Lloyd Bridges) hosts his daughter (Kirstie Alley) and grandson (Ross Malinger from Sleepless in Seattle) during a visit to his country cottage. After lunch, the trio settles in as grandfather recounts "The Story" of Peter's adventures with a bird, cat, and dizzy duck on the outskirts "of a very dark forest." The film morphs into a clever cartoon designed by the legendary Chuck Jones (of Wile E. Coyote fame). The "story within a story" leaps to life while the accompanying musical instruments also emerge as playful personalities.
